Go to VERIDIAN CITY and talk to the old man to the north. Let him show you how to catch Pok�mon. Put the Item you want 99 of on the 6th spot on the Items list. FLY to CINNIBAR ISLAND and SURF up and down the east coast (half on land, half off).Eventally a MISSINGO will attack. Let it beat you or beat it. When you are done, on the items list, there will be a symbol next to the 6th Item. Go to a Pok�center, and deposit it. When you look at the items in Ash's PC, there will be 99, or even more! I suggest using this on MASTER BALL or RARE CANDY. SEAFOAM ISLANDS Pok� Cheat How to Catch any SAFARI ZONE Pok�mon in the WILD! Go to area of SAFARI ZONE where the particular Pok�mon you have your eyes on resides. (e.g., KANGASKHAN in 2nd of 4 sections next to starting section) Run around in that area until the time runs out Head straight to SEAFOAM ISLANDS and SURF just along the edge in the water (up and down on the coast) and SAFARI ZONE Pok�mon from that particular area will attack! Master Ball Cheat: Only you will know if it works Using any Pok� Ball, press up and B at the same time as soon as you see the ball flying toward the Pok�mon. I've never really gotten this to work, but players say it does, and Nintendo's Ask Dan said it works with Ultra Balls. GET MEW(this is a false rumor) Get all of the Pok�mon and beat the game. Then go to the mansion in Celadon and go to the computer room. Go to the guy who's not on a computer and he will give you Mew! Now go trade this top selection, and get it back. Go to your Pok�dex and go all the way down and you'll see Mew's Biography! EASY DITTO CATCH Put Magikarp at top of list and let Ditto transform into a Magikarp. Then switch Pok�mon--Ditto is easy to fight and catch! STAND ON TOP OF TREES Cut down a bush stand on the spot where the bush is save and restart the game and you're on top and stuck there. (Why do this?) Better Chance Catching Safari Pok�mon? When you throw a Safari Ball, the instant you see the ball materialize, start rotating the pad from the left in a counterclockwise motion at a semi-slow speed. I have been able to catch the most difficult Pokemon in the Safari Zone multiple times. It's not 100% effective, but it is in the 80% area, and the ones that escape the ball and run away, I usually catch the next Pokemon right away. I want to be sure this is a legitimate trick, so I call on everyone to try it on your GBs in the Safari Zone. PINBALL Animated Pok�mon To animate Pok�mon, go to the Pok�dex and highlight one of the standard (or un-evolved) Pok�mon. Then hold the Start button and watch it move! When you get the CAVE bonus DO NOT GO INTO THE HOLE! Light up the letters C A V E again. Now when you go into the "cave" you will get double the prizes! (e.g. When you get the ball saver bonus it's 60 sec. instead of 30 sec.) I did this trick about 4 times and it easily got me 1st place on the score board! Especially when I got the BIG bonus! Woah!! submitted by Andeliteon Easier Way to get the CAVE Bonus The hard way to get the CAVE bonus is this: Light up all four letters C A V E located at the bottom of the screen to open a hole in the middle of the board. The easy way is this: 1st Charge up Pikachu's kickback by doing a loop-de-loop around the outside of the board. It should hit a spinner which will cause it to spin, charging Pikach up. Then when the ball falls down to the bottom of the screen and bumps Pikachu. He will do a Pikachu kickback. At this time flip the flippers so that the blank spot is over Pikachu's head. You have to be quick so that the ball will go through the blank spot. submitted by Andeliteon Easy Points There are several ways of snagging millions of points in Pok�mon Pinball! One way is to upgrade the Pok� Ball to a Master Ball (by lighting up Evo lights) and then hitting the targets. Another way is to choose a captured (and evolved) Pok�mon, strip it of all of its items and experience, then whack the ball into the hole! submitted by AndyV32688 and Bcnate Evolving Pokemon Red Field: Shoot the pokeball through the left outside loop. Each time you pass through the loop, one evolution arrow will light up. When all three arrows are lit up, shoot the ball into the Evolution cave. Then choose the pokemon you want to evolve. For example, if you choose shellder, make the pokeball hit all three Water Stones then shoot the ball into the hole in the middle of the field. Blue Field: Shoot the pokeball through the left loop. Each time the pokeball passes through the loop one evolution arrow will light up. When all three arrows are lit up shoot your ball into SLOWPOKE'S mouth. Then choose the pokemon you want to evolve. For example, if you choose pikachu make the pokeball hit all three Thunder Stones then shoot the ball in the hole in the middle of the field. submitted by Codemaster Extra Pok� Balls To get additional Pok� Balls, you must get a ?CAVE? bonus. Thereafter, every 20th time the letters are lit, you will receive an additional ball! submitted by poke god Find the Rare Zapdos To get Zapdos, the legendary bird of thunder, go to Lavendar Town on the Red game board. Make sure all of the arrows to the right loop are lit up and none are blinking(to light them up, shoot the pokeball through the right loop). Now, shoot into Bellsprout's mouth and there is a good chance that you will find a Zapdos. submitted by Senor Goose Getting Great, Ultra, and Master Balls To get a Great, Ultra, or a Master ball you must light up the three lights at the top of either table. Mew will appear there, but although you can see him you still have to attack him over 50 times before he is captured. submitted by Graveler Illuminate CAVE Lights Easily The easiest way to illuminate CAVE lights is to rapidly tap the ?Up-Tilt? button as the Pok� Ball travels underneath the triangular-shaped bouncers. This will move lit CAVE lights out of the path of the ball, while putting unlit ones in their place. (The ones you have seen in your pokedex are shadows.) submitted by Mew Red Field Evolution Having trouble hitting the ball up the outer left loop 4 times? Try this trick: Whenever the ball is initially released into the field(when a new ball is sent or your ball is saved), the ball will bounce up near the edge of the right flipper. While the ball is in limbo, shake the field left(Down on the D-Pad) 4 times; once while the ball is rising, once at the peak, and twice on the way down. Hit the ball with the right flipper as soon as it is in range(the tip of the flipper will strike the ball), and it will always go up the outer left loop. Finally, there's a use for the Ball Saver on the slots! Another useful method is to stop the ball and hold it with the left flipper up. While the ball is still, it will spin counter-clockwise. Now, release and immediately hit the left flipper; the ball should roll a pixel or two down the flipper before shooting straight up the Evolution Lane. The timing is difficult, but with practice these two tricks will allow you to evolve pokemon at your leisure. submitted by BlackReaver Revive Tired Pok�mon While in the Evolution mode, your pok�mon may become "tired".
